Art Trail

Peter Rabbit™ in the warrens of Worcester
Summer 2027 will see Worcester transformed into a free, fun art space as a collection of wonderfully designed Peter Rabbit sculptures, hop their way into residents’ hearts – and their camera rolls.
Just like their penguin, giraffe and ele-friends before them, Peter Rabbit™ in the warrens of Worcester is on a mission to entice us outdoors, encouraging city-wide exploring, whilst creating lasting memories and sharing magical moments together. In a year which also marks the 125th anniversary of the first publication of Beatrix Potter’s The Tale of Peter Rabbit!
A Wild in Art trail of thirty-five large Peter Rabbit sculptures will sprinkle charm across the city for eight weeks, joined by around forty little Peter Rabbits created by local schools and community groups.
Each sculpture is sponsored by a business and brought to life by an artist – either well-known or just starting out, from the Worcestershire area or further afield.
They’ll hop, skip and jump into the city on Monday 12 July and will stay with us until Sunday 5 September 2027.

After this, there will be the chance to say a final ‘goodbye’ at Farewell Events, before each large Peter Rabbit is auctioned to raise funds for St Richard’s Hospice and each little bunny returns to its forever home with the schools and community groups who designed them.
There’s a way to go before our Peter Rabbits spring up in the city, but we hope you’ll join us on the journey towards summer 2027.

The Auction
After the summer in 2027 our wonderful fluffle of Peter Rabbit sculptures will take centre stage at an auction to raise money for St Richard’s Hospice. All thirty-five large Peter Rabbit sculptures and one little bunny will go under the hammer, whilst the remaining bunnies will return to the schools and community groups who decorated them, as a lasting legacy to Peter Rabbit™ in the warrens of Worcester.
