Peter Rabbit™ in the warrens of Worcester

Peter Rabbit™ in the warrens of Worcester is a glorious celebration of everything we love about our city. Its beautiful parks, bustling streets and public spaces will come alive with colour and conversations, as our collection of individually designed and painted Peter Rabbit sculptures bring joy (and a little bit of mischief) to the summer of 2027. A year which also marks the 125th anniversary of the first publication of Beatrix Potter’s The Tale of Peter Rabbit!

Just like their penguin, giraffe and ele-friends before them, the St Richard’s Hospice fluffle of rabbits is on a mission to entice us outdoors, encouraging city-wide exploring, whilst creating lasting memories and sharing magical moments together.

A Wild in Art trail of over thirty-five large Peter Rabbit sculptures will go on display for eight weeks alongside around forty little Peter Rabbits, designed by local schools and community groups. Each sculpture will be sponsored by a business and individually designed by an artist – either well-known or just starting out, from the Worcestershire area or further afield.

They’ll hop, skip and jump into the city on Monday 12 July and will stay until Sunday 5 September 2027.

After this, there will be the chance to say a final ‘goodbye’ at Farewell Events, before each large Peter Rabbit is auctioned to raise funds for St Richard’s Hospice and each little bunny skips back to its forever home with schools and community groups.

There’s a way to go before our Peter Rabbits leap into the city, but we hope you’ll join us on the journey towards summer 2027. Hop along with us and sign up to catch all the latest news – on our social media channels using #WarrensOfWorcester
