Transport partnership hops aboard as art trail major sponsor

A partnership bringing together Worcestershire County Council and local bus operators is hopping on board as a presenting partner for a major public event.

Connect Worcestershire has joined Peter Rabbit™ in the warrens of Worcester, helping St Richard’s Hospice bring 75 Peter Rabbit™ sculptures – large and small – to city streets and public spaces in summer 2027.

The travel partnership works to make travelling around the county easier, with a focus on creating a more frequent, reliable and integrated transport network that helps people get where they need to.

Its support for the six-mile-long art trail will help people of all ages get out and about while promoting public transport as an attractive and accessible way to travel.

Peter Rabbit™ in the warrens of Worcester builds on three hugely successful hospice-run trails in 2018, 2021 and 2024, which raised £1.2 million combined for local hospice care.

Peter Rabbit™ in the warrens of Worcester is supported by Presenting Partners Chapel & Friary Walk, Connect Worcestershire, DRPG, Worcester BID and Worcestershire Ambassadors, and Media Partners the Worcester News and BBC Hereford & Worcester.

The project is also supported by The World of Peter Rabbit™, which is managed by Penguin Ventures, the licensing and consumer products division of Penguin Random House Children’s UK.
