A Worcestershire lighting company is the latest local business to help a hospice art trail shine in summer 2027.

Thorlux Lighting, a division of FW Thorpe Plc, which designs, manufactures and supplies professional lighting systems from its Redditch base, is to sponsor a large and small sculpture for Peter Rabbit™ in the warrens of Worcester.

Seventy-five fibreglass mischief-makers will be displayed in Worcester for eight weeks, forming a parade through city streets, shopping areas and public spaces.

The art trail will run from Monday, 12 July to Sunday, 5 September, culminating in an auction where each large sculpture will be sold to raise funds for the free care that St Richard’s Hospice provides to patients and their loved ones across Worcestershire.

The Thorlux mini Peter Rabbit™ will be designed and decorated by local school children before returning to them at the end of the trail as a lasting memory of the project.
