A Worcester-based not-for-profit provider of social housing and care has signed up to support a county community event again in summer 2027.

Sanctuary is set to sponsor a large and small sculpture during Peter Rabbit™ in the warrens of Worcester, an eight-week public art trail that will see seventy-five individually decorated sculptures of the furry mischief-maker dotted around the city.

A Wild in Art event being brought to Worcester by St Richard’s Hospice, the trail will also help raise funds for patients affected by illnesses which cannot be cured and their loved ones. The project builds on the hospice’s hugely successful past trails in 2018, 2021 and 2024, which saw giraffes, elephants and penguins displayed across the city before raising raising more than £1.2 million combined

Thirty-five large  Peter Rabbit™ sculptures will be painted by artists while 40 smaller rabbits will be designed and decorated by local schools and groups.
